A Few of our Current Favorites

Good Talk by Mira Jacob

"A bold, wry, and intimate graphic memoir about American identity, interracial families, and the realities that divide us." *Our favorite book of the year!*

In the Dream House by Carmen Maria Machado

"An engrossing and wildly innovative account of a relationship gone bad, and a bold dissection of the mechanisms and cultural representations of psychological abuse."

A Fortune for Your Disaster by Hanif Abdurraqib

"Abdurraqib uses touchstones from the world outside--from Marvin Gaye to Nikola Tesla to his neighbor's dogs--to create a mirror, inside of which every angle presents a new possibility."

our mission

Joy. Creativity. Curiosity.

image10

It all starts with a story…how a great book captivates and enlivens us, how the fairytales our parents tell us spark our sense of wonder and love of creativity, how we first learn to explore and dream and fly in the pages of our favorite books.

Spreading the Love of Reading
